Role overview
ZADK Saudi Culinary Arts Academy is seeking a Business Development Officer to support the growth of its culinary education programs in Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on promoting the academy’s offerings, developing strategic alliances, and helping increase student enrolment. The successful candidate will work with prospective students, hospitality industry leaders, educational institutions, government bodies, and corporate partners to widen ZADK’s network and create meaningful cooperation aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
This opportunity suits someone who is proactive, relationship-oriented, and motivated by the chance to open new business avenues while contributing to the development of future culinary professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Source, approach, and secure partnerships with hotels, restaurants, resorts, and corporate entities.
- Create customized partnership proposals, support negotiation discussions, and monitor delivery against agreed commitments.
- Use industry relationships to market culinary programs, execute recruitment plans for students, and carry out initial eligibility checks for corporate or sponsored candidates.
- Represent the academy at conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and industry meetings to maintain strong connections with partners and government stakeholders.
- Keep partnership leads, agreements, and conversion stages accurately updated in the CRM system.
Requirements and qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience in business development, B2B sales, corporate partnerships, or account management.
- Good knowledge of the Saudi market and employer engagement practices, with the ability to build durable relationships with industry stakeholders.
- Awareness of relevant Saudi government policies, initiatives, and incentive schemes that can support the academy’s mission and goals.
- Strong communication, relationship management, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Genuine interest in education and culinary arts, along with an understanding of the hospitality sector.
- Comfort using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools; exposure to sales or customer relationship tools is a plus.
Working schedule and location
This is a full-time onsite role based in Khobar / Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The working days are Sunday to Thursday, with Saturday required if needed. Standard working hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
