Role Overview
We seek a motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead Winnow's growth in the APAC hospitality sector. This key position involves traveling regionally, including overseas, to engage with clients and drive sales initiatives. As part of a 15-person global sales team, mainly supported from Chicago, London, Dubai, and Singapore, the role centers on building pipeline, managing accounts, and collaborating with marketing, product and account management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full sales cycles independently to meet or exceed sales goals across APAC.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and nurture client relationships.
- Expand existing accounts to increase adoption of Winnow’s technology portfolios.
- Manage objections thoughtfully to enable deal progression.
- Represent Winnow at conferences, building strong networks and rapport with executives and stakeholders.
- Conduct discovery meetings to tailor solutions aligned to customer needs.
- Forge strong partnerships within markets and decision-making units for sustained growth.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across global locations to share insights and align on strategies.
- Contribute to refining APAC business development strategy and competitive positioning.
- Adopt AI tools to enhance prospecting and sales productivity in line with Winnow’s AI initiatives.
- Analyze deal outcomes for continuous personal and team improvement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Degree-level education preferred.
- Proven success in SaaS or technology sales, with experience handling enterprise clients and closing significant deals.
- Track record in high-performing sales environments and exceeding targets.
- Experience selling to hospitality sectors including hotels, casinos, and contract catering is advantageous.
- Familiarity or interest in using AI-driven sales tools.
- Languages relevant to the APAC region such as Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese, Korean, or Filipino, are a plus.
