About the Role
A dynamic SaaS company undergoing a significant expansion phase is looking to hire a Business Development Manager. This role involves shaping, leading, and expanding the outbound sales function to enhance pipeline generation. The company boasts robust commercial momentum, an engaged sales funnel, and a founder-driven go-to-market approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and grow the Business Development Representative (BDR) team by introducing clear workflows, expectations, and consistent operational rhythms.
- Mentor and support BDRs to elevate their outreach effectiveness, maintain consistency, and improve conversion outcomes.
- Develop and refine outbound strategies including messaging, sequencing, experimentation, and channel utilization.
- Collaborate closely with the founder and commercial leadership to synchronize pipeline objectives and GTM strategy.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and acceleration of new BDR team members as the team expands.
- Set up structured reporting mechanisms, conduct weekly reviews, and track performance metrics systematically.
- Design career advancement pathways for high-performing BDRs transitioning into Account Executive roles.
- Introduce innovative ideas, experiment with new tactics, and iterate rapidly within a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 5 years of experience managing BDR or SDR teams in SaaS companies.
- Experience working in smaller firms with fewer than 100 employees or early-stage startups.
- Strong abilities in coaching and nurturing early-career professionals.
- Adopts a growth-oriented mindset with openness to learning and adaptation.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a composed and professional leadership presence.
- Demonstrates resilience, organization, and the capacity to uphold high standards despite a demanding environment.
