Role Overview

We are looking for a full-time Remote Business Analyst to join our Business Operations and Strategy team. This position is focused on evaluating business processes, monitoring operational outcomes, generating actionable insights, and facilitating data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Key Duties

Assess business workflows and operational results to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
Collect, organize, and scrutinize business-related data to aid strategic planning.
Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that deliver clear insights to leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp business needs and propose effective remedies.
Recommend improvements to boost efficiency, cut costs, and increase productivity.
Convert business requirements into clear documentation for technical and operational use.
Support the rollout and tracking of business improvement initiatives.
Analyze key performance indicators and provide frequent status reports.
Develop data models and maintain business analysis documentation.
Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning tasks.
Conduct research and analytic activities that underpin company strategies and initiatives.
Detect trends, risks, and opportunities through detailed data evaluation.
Support IT and software implementation projects to enhance business systems.
Work closely with IT teams to define requirements and improve business applications.
Prepare executive summaries and recommendations.
Document business processes and workflow improvements.
Monitor project progress and contribute to change management efforts.
Engage in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and share updates.
Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and information integrity across tasks.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives organization-wide.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Operations Management, or relevant fields preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in business analysis, operations analysis, reporting, process improvement, or related roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Competence in analyzing large data sets and deriving impactful insights.
Experience in creating reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel advanced features, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Excellent written and oral communication, able to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Highly organized with the capability to handle multiple deadlines.
Skilled in documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Abilities

Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or operational environments.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge of SQL, databases, reporting systems, and data visualization technologies.
Experience with ERP systems and business software applications.
Understanding of methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile for process improvement.
Background supporting technology rollouts and system enhancements.
Possession of professional certifications like CBAP or PMI-PBA is advantageous.

Work Environment & Schedule

This role is fully remote, requiring a professional home office setup with dependable high-speed internet and willingness to collaborate via digital tools. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday with some flexibility to accommodate project deadlines, business reviews, and system implementations.
