Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams. The main responsibilities include gathering and documenting business needs, converting these into detailed user stories and functional specifications, and supporting solution architecture and Agile Scrum rituals.

Main Duties

Collaborate with business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure alignment on project scope, priorities, and desired results
Conduct detailed elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements, workflows, and user journeys
Formulate user stories and acceptance criteria within Jira that reflect the business objectives
Assist in defining solutions by clarifying functional requirements, constraints, and interdependencies
Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies like backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews
Organize and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test cases, facilitating test execution, and validating results
Maintain traceability of requirements and manage modification requests throughout the delivery process

Candidate Profile

Demonstrated background in business analysis within IT or software project delivery environments
Strong proficiency in requirements engineering, including documentation and prioritization of business needs
Practical experience using Jira in Agile Scrum teams
Knowledgeable about the financial services industry with a focus on payments domain
Capable of translating business objectives into technical specifications and vice versa
Experience working synchronously or asynchronously with distributed teams across different time zones
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, confident working autonomously

Additional Advantages

Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools, including prompt creation
