About the Role

As a Busfahrer:in, you will engage in a varied daily routine, working close to home, ensuring safe and comfortable journeys for passengers, and maintaining composure under challenging situations.

We are currently recruiting for Busfahrer:in (w/m/d) positions at Omnibusverkehr Franken GmbH in Bamberg and surrounding areas. Whether you are a beginner driver or unfamiliar with the routes, we provide thorough training and onboarding.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate buses reliably and punctually within scheduled line and school transportation routes.
• Inform and assist passengers with timetable details, fare information, and connection options.
• Handle sales and verification of tickets.
• Conduct inspections to confirm the operational readiness of your vehicle and its technical systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness before and after your trips.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completed professional training as a commercial driver or possession of a valid bus driving license (Class D or DE).
• Valid qualification as per the Professional Driver Qualification Act (BKrFQG), reflected by the “95” code entry on your driver's license or a driver qualification card.
• Proficient in spoken and written German language.
• Willingness to work shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Customer-oriented attitude, flexibility, and dependability.
