Branch Operations Manager - Micro Business Loans

Job Overview

This role sits within Retail Banking and focuses on Micro Business Loans. The Branch Operations Manager is expected to oversee the branch’s daily operating rhythm, with particular attention to loan disbursement and customer relationship management.

Role Purpose

The position is accountable for smooth branch operations on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that Micro Business Loan disbursements are handled efficiently while maintaining strong customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the processing and release of Micro Business Loan disbursements.
• Ensure turnaround time and file quality are maintained during the disbursement stage.
• Verify and process MBL cases in the system in line with company policies and defined parameters.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Credit, and FCU to support ongoing process updates, policy changes, and daily coordination.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Guide and coach senior team members to strengthen customer focus, innovation, compliance, and integrity across the team.
• Help attract and retain strong talent to support the bank’s growth objectives.

Education

A graduate degree in any discipline is required. A postgraduate qualification in any subject is optional.

Experience

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in operations or customer service.
