Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to fully own and lead the Mosgiel branch's overall performance and foster a motivated, customer-centric team culture. This permanent, full-time position includes weekdays Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings.

Key Duties

• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high-achieving team with a focus on engagement and responsibility.
• Oversee team performance by recognizing accomplishments and preemptively tackling issues.
• Manage the branch's financial outcomes, including sales, margins, and profitability.
• Strengthen and nurture lasting customer relations while expanding the branch's market footprint.
• Spot and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with Sales Representatives to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Promote a robust sales and service-driven environment.
• Supervise stock management, inventory accuracy, stocktaking, and control.
• Handle stock loss, manage warranty claims, and regulate product flow.
• Maintain the branch's appearance, operational efficiency, and readiness to serve customers.
• Ensure exceptional service levels, timely delivery, and outstanding customer experience.
• Administer branch budgeting, profit and loss, and target attainment.
• Oversee debtor accounts and ensure adherence to corporate policies.
• Provide accurate performance reporting and encourage continuous operational improvement.
• Create and implement a comprehensive branch business strategy aligned with company objectives.

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership expertise with a history of building and developing effective teams.
• Strong commercial insight with demonstrated success in driving sales growth and profitability.
• Experience in managing customer relationships, sales, and business development initiatives.
• Capability to harmonize people management, operational processes, and financial targets.
• Practical, solution-oriented approach accompanied by excellent communication skills.
• Preferred experience within the automotive, trade, or wholesale sectors.
