Overview

We invite motivated and passionate individuals to join our esteemed, friendly team at a cutting-edge, UKAS 15189 accredited regional immunology laboratory. Candidates must be registered Biomedical Scientists with the HPC. Appointment will primarily be at Band 5 pay scale, with Band 6 considered for those who have completed or are near completion of an Immunology Specialist portfolio. This role supports continuous professional growth and is part of an IBMS approved training laboratory.

Laboratory Environment and Equipment

Staff rotate between immunology sections including autoimmunity, flow cytometry, immunochemistry, and allergy diagnostics, gaining expertise both in automation and specialist manual techniques.

Role Responsibilities

  • Carry out biomedical scientific duties in compliance with HCPC standards.

  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment involved in specimen preparation and testing.
