BIM Modeler

Role Overview

Reliance Industries Limited is looking for a BIM Modeler to build, maintain, and coordinate detailed 3D building information models across all stages of a project. The role supports design development, construction planning, documentation, and presentation deliverables in a site-based setting in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update 3D BIM models for concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction phases.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project participants to maintain model accuracy and address coordination issues.
• Follow organization and project-specific BIM standards, workflows, and modeling protocols.
• Produce drawings, schedules, and reports from the model whenever needed.
• Perform clash detection using tools such as Navisworks and share resolution inputs with the wider project team.
• Prepare high-quality visual outputs, including renderings, animations, and walkthroughs, for reviews and client presentations.
• Provide guidance and assistance to team members on the effective use of BIM software and processes.

Skills and Technical Knowledge

• Hands-on familiarity with BIM platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, and ACC/AEC Suite.
• Ability to develop parametric models and create custom families.
• Strong coordination, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with clash detection, model checking, and issue resolution.
• Capability to validate model quality and ensure accuracy.
• Knowledge of rendering techniques and walkthrough preparation.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture from any discipline is required.
