Role Overview

The HR Benefits Specialist serves as a main contact for employees and managers seeking support with benefits and HR-related questions. The role requires delivering accurate, timely, and service-oriented assistance, while also helping create a smooth employee experience through clear communication, issue resolution, and effective use of HR self-service tools.

Core Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for benefits questions raised through phone, email, and help desk channels.
• Handle requests from initial intake through closure, escalating issues when needed.
• Administer benefit enrollments, updates, terminations, and qualifying life events in line with plan rules and applicable regulations.
• Explain eligibility rules, plan details, and available coverage choices to employees.
• Monitor inquiry progress and share status updates to keep the employee experience smooth and transparent.
• Use established procedures, policies, and knowledge resources to ensure responses remain accurate and consistent.
• Work closely with HR teammates to support broader initiatives and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Compensation
