Role Overview

• Craft and serve a diverse assortment of coffee beverages, from espresso-based drinks to drip and specialty options.
• Welcome customers warmly and ensure orders are taken with precision.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other related cafe equipment reliably.
• Manage cash transactions and efficiently use the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Suggest and promote coffee products and menu items to enhance sales.
• Support inventory control by restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain seamless cafe operations and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Stay informed about current coffee trends and effectively communicate product knowledge to customers.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completion of high school or equivalent education.
• Preferably prior experience as a barista.
• Comprehensive understanding of various coffee types, brewing techniques, and cafe workflows.
• Skillful in using espresso machines and other cafe apparatus.
• Outstanding customer service aptitude with a personable and outgoing demeanor.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency.
• Meticulous attention to detail along with a dedication to delivering quality.
• Fundamental math proficiency and experience handling cash transactions.
• Food safety certification is desirable.
• Physical stamina to stand for long durations and lift weights up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an advantage.
