Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant - IRS

Role overview

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant for its Intensive Rehabilitation Service (IRS) in Ilford, England. This is a full-time maternity cover position running until 08/07/2027. The service supports adults in the community and focuses on rehabilitation at home rather than in a bed-based setting.

The role is a good fit for someone currently working in care who is ready to progress, or for someone who has completed the Care Certificate and wants to take the next step into the NHS. The team is community-based and works to help people regain confidence, recover safely, and remain as independent as possible in familiar surroundings.

Service information

IRS is a London-based, community-focused rehabilitation team. It offers an alternative to inpatient rehabilitation by supporting patients in their own homes. As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will manage your own caseload of community patients and work alongside Nurses, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists to provide personalised care.

Working pattern

This post requires participation in the weekend rota.
