About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, carry out, and supervise incoming and outgoing inspection and testing activities to ensure products meet defined specifications and quality expectations.
• Compile reports by gathering, examining, and summarizing data, then turning findings into actionable recommendations.
• Support operations and local quality teams in monitoring, recording, and reporting quality performance, along with CSR, environmental, and health & safety KPIs.
• Contribute ideas and practical solutions to resolve identified issues.
• Review and investigate customer complaints and quality concerns, ensuring issues are closed in line with company procedures and external compliance requirements.
• Track risk-management activities and maintain problem logs to spot recurring issues and report them to the relevant teams.
• Train and guide the quality assurance team on systems, policies, processes, and working practices.
• Make sure products comply with internal and industry quality standards.

Required Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of functional testing methods.
• At least 5 years of professional experience ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications using modern tools, frameworks, and testing practices.
• Hands-on expertise in automation testing, with strong working knowledge of tools such as Playwright and Cypress.
• Ability to perform automated API and security testing.
• Good knowledge of databases and query languages.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Working knowledge of JIRA, including test case handling, execution, defect logging, and monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, along with tools like Docker.
• Exposure to Agile and Scrum-based ways of working.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins.
