Role Summary

The Audit Associate position is based on-site in Dubai and is a full-time role. The selected professional will support the planning and delivery of financial audits, examine financial statements, and evaluate internal controls to help ensure accuracy and adherence to applicable standards and regulations. The role also includes analyzing financial information, preparing audit documentation, drafting reports, and assisting senior colleagues in completing high-quality audit assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and carrying out financial audit assignments.
• Review financial statements and assess whether they are accurate and compliant.
• Test internal controls and document observations, exceptions, and findings.
• Analyze financial data to identify variances, inconsistencies, trends, and risks.
• Prepare working papers, schedules, and audit reports in an organized manner.
• Support senior audit staff throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Coordinate with client teams to obtain information and resolve audit queries.
• Maintain complete and well-structured audit files and documentation.
• Contribute ideas that help improve audit methods, workflows, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Good understanding of financial statements and core accounting principles.
• Prior exposure to auditing and financial audit procedures, including compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical ability to spot errors, patterns, and potential risk areas.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or semi-qualified status in ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience in the UAE.
• Comfort using accounting and audit tools, along with strong MS Excel skills.
• Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Professional attitude, confidentiality, and commitment to ongoing learning.

Compensation

The monthly salary is AED 3,500 to AED 5,000.
