About the Role
Join Alignerr as an Audio Transcription Specialist, a fully remote contract position focused on converting spoken audio into precise written documents. Your diligent transcription efforts will enhance AI systems' comprehension of human speech.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe various audio recordings accurately according to established guidelines.
- Manage diverse audio inputs including different accents, speech rates, and recording qualities.
- Consistently apply formatting, punctuation, and speaker identification rules.
- Identify and report unclear or inaudible audio segments appropriately.
- Meet defined quality and delivery targets for each assigned task batch.
- Work independently with the flexibility to set your own schedule.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent listening skills capturing fine details others may overlook.
- Typing proficiency that matches audio playback speed efficiently.
- Patience and systematic approach when tackling complex audio files.
- Ability to adhere to structured instructions and utilize transcription tools.

- No previous transcription or AI-related experience necessary.
