Role Summary

The Associate NCC Officer (ANO) will play a vital role in facilitating and managing National Cadet Corps activities and student development programs within the campus. This full-time position, based in Jalandhar, involves active, onsite involvement with students, faculty members, and NCC officials to coordinate and supervise related engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead NCC drills, parades, and training sessions for cadets.
  • Monitor discipline and ensure safety protocols during NCC events.
  • Maintain detailed documentation concerning cadet participation and performance metrics.
  • Plan and implement camps, workshops, and outreach initiatives to encourage participation and skill development.
  • Promote physical fitness and leadership development among cadet members.
  • Ensure compliance with NCC guidelines and institutional policies throughout all activities.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to integrate NCC initiatives as part of the broader student development framework.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities, with aptitude for team building and motivating cadets.
  • Strong organizational skills, including event coordination, time management, and accurate record maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, faculty, and NCC authorities.
  • Physical fitness and a disciplined approach suitable for conducting outdoor drills and managing camps.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NCC structure, rules, and protocols; prior NCC involvement or certification is highly preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is mandatory; experience in academic or student affairs is an asset.
  • A strong dedication to fostering student development combined with integrity and adherence to both institutional and NCC regulations.
