About the Role

Join BlackBuck, India's premier trucking network, as an Associate Manager focused on Accounts Payable. This position is based in Bangalore and requires 6 to 9 years of professional experience. The role involves managing the complete spectrum of accounts payable functions within the organization to support the commission-based truck placement business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment execution.
  • Maintain accurate reconciliations to ensure vendors are paid correctly and on time.
  • Monitor compliance with tax regulations such as GST and TDS.
  • Execute month-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, and reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare management information system (MIS) reports, dashboards for accounts payable, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with audits including internal, statutory, and tax audits to ensure transparency and regulatory adherence.
  • Champion process improvements and initiatives to automate accounts payable workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Procurement, HR, and Administration to streamline financial processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or equivalent qualifications such as MBA (Finance), CMA (Inter), CA Inter.
  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end accounts payable operations.
  • Proficient in vendor management, invoice processing, and matching of PO/GRN.
  • Strong understanding of GST and TDS compliance frameworks.
  • Expertise in month-end closing activities and maintaining financial records.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems like Oracle EBS, SAP, Oracle Fusion, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel for reporting and analytics.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits.
  • Ability to generate and manage MIS and various financial dashboards.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Competencies

  • Experience with international or cross-border accounts payable processes.
  • Knowledge of process automation tools.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing financial controls and risk.
  • Familiarity with ERP system implementation or enhancement projects.
