Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Fitter to join our team at Kathwada GIDC, Odhav Ahmedabad. This role involves assembling machinery components with precision and engaging in various mechanical tasks alongside overtime work. The position requires proficiency in several technical skills and adherence to an 8-hour shift with additional overtime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Deftly utilize measuring instruments to ensure precise assembly of parts.
- Perform drilling and tapping operations to prepare components for assembly.
- Execute welding tasks necessary for joining metal parts securely.
- Undertake machine assembly activities following specifications and safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess an ITI certification relevant to mechanical or assembly work.
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with measuring tools, drilling, tapping, welding, and machine assembly.
Shift and Compensation
The role follows an 8-hour daily shift with additional overtime opportunities. The monthly salary ranges from ₹15,600 to ₹23,400, exclusive of overtime pay.
