Architect CAD & Construction Documentation Specialist - Remote

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Architect CAD and Construction Documentation professional for a remote contract role. The role emphasizes creating detailed architectural drawings and manufacturing documentation aligned with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate detailed floor plans and elevation drawings adhering to project specifications.
• Develop extensive 2D/3D CAD drawings tailored for architectural and engineering applications.
• Accurately prepare Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) annotations necessary for manufacturing documentation.
• Create and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics following established industry guidelines.
• Design and evaluate PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with manufacturability and functional requirements.
• Engage collaboratively to resolve technical queries and clarify project criteria through communication and exchange.
• Deliver complete documentation packages that correspond with established project milestones and maintain high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of three years of recent hands-on experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Expertise in using standard industry tools for both 2D and 3D CAD design as well as PCB layout planning.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and produce detailed GD&T callouts and complex schematic diagrams effectively.
• Experience in preparing multi-page electrical schematic documentation integrated with PCB layouts relevant to building projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational aptitude to handle extensive multi-document projects.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior experience working collaboratively on remote, multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.
