Architect CAD and Construction Documentation Specialist - Remote Contract

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architect CAD and Construction Documentation professional to work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves preparing detailed architectural plans, engineering drawings, and construction documentation to support building projects, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate detailed floor plans and elevation drawings aligned with project needs.
• Create comprehensive CAD drawings for architecture and engineering applications.
• Develop precise Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) annotations for manufacturing documentation.
• Produce and annotate multi-page electrical schematics following industry standards.
• Design and evaluate PCB layouts incorporating manufacturability and functional considerations.
• Engage in collaborative exchanges to clarify project requirements and address technical issues.
• Prepare complete documentation packages that meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least three years of recent experience specializing in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Expertise with standard 2D/3D CAD software and PCB layout design tools.
• Demonstrated capability in generating and interpreting GD&T callouts and complex schematic diagrams.
• Experience in developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB designs into building projects.
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills for managing extensive document sets.
• Advanced proficiency in English communication.
• Experience working remotely with cross-functional teams is advantageous.
