About the Role
H2 Health is dedicated to supporting outstanding patient care through proficient financial management. The AR Billing Collections Specialist will lead and manage the accounts receivable and billing collection operations, ensuring timely revenue collection while fostering a team focused on refining billing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and support billing collections personnel by offering training and ongoing guidance
- Audit and validate billing procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
- Track accounts receivable aging reports and identify overdue balances
- Communicate consistently with insurance providers, patients, and internal departments about billing inquiries
- Guarantee the prompt and precise submission of claims and follow up on denied claims effectively
- Examine billing data and generate insightful reports to assist management decisions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential
- At least three years of hands-on experience in medical billing and collections
- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare billing regulations, claims processing, and collection procedures
- Strong analytical capabilities and effective problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capability to collaborate in a dynamic environment while juggling multiple priorities
