Role overview
This position is for a meticulous virtual assistant who will support short-term rental operations by handling guest messages, managing reservations, and helping deliver a smooth stay experience for guests.
Core responsibilities
- Communicate with guests before arrival, throughout their stay, and after checkout using email, chat tools, and phone.
- Answer questions, share relevant property and stay information, and resolve guest concerns quickly.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and booking changes through property management software while keeping records accurate and current.
- Support check-in and check-out coordination so the property is prepared on time for incoming guests.
- Liaise with cleaning and maintenance teams whenever property readiness or service issues need attention.
- Track guest reviews and feedback across platforms and reply in a professional, courteous manner.
- Document guest interactions, bookings, and incidents carefully, and share regular updates with management on satisfaction and property performance.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of guest service through prompt communication, effective follow-up, and professional conduct.
Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Airbnb operations, hospitality, or property management is required.
- Comfort using email, messaging tools, and property management systems is necessary.
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with property management software are expected.
