AI/ML Software Engineer Apprenticeship

Role Overview

NIIT is looking to hire an AI/ML Software Engineer for its Gurgaon/Gurugram office. This is a work-from-office position. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

What You Will Do

• Design and build AI-enabled applications and automated workflows.
• Work with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to link AI models with practical tools and data sources.
• Develop efficient code in Node.js and Python for AI pipelines and API integrations.
• Partner with the team to quickly prototype and release AI features.

What We Are Looking For

• A current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Practical exposure to AI/ML work through college projects, hackathons, or personal builds.
• Good working knowledge of Python and/or Node.js.
• Exposure to MCP servers, LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, or AI agent frameworks will be an added advantage.
• A self-motivated, inquisitive person who can adapt to rapidly changing AI tools and technologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with REST APIs, prompt engineering, or RAG pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects.
• Familiarity with LangChain or similar frameworks.
