Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and sustain AI and machine learning applications and features.
• Integrate AI/ML models seamlessly into software applications and production environments.
• Handle data preprocessing, evaluation of models, and optimize their performance.
• Create and maintain APIs and services essential for AI-powered applications.
• Produce clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate effectively with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders within a remote team.
• Engage in code reviews and promote best software development and AI engineering practices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues linked to AI systems and applications.
• Support model deployment, ongoing testing, monitoring, and iterative improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates with 0 to 3+ years of experience, including internships, at entry or junior level.
• Degree or equivalent professional background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
• Understanding of fundamental AI and machine learning principles.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases, APIs, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Some experience with data preprocessing, model validation, and deployment basics.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to function well in a collaborative, fully remote team setup.
• Good communication and organizational competencies.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a keen desire to learn and develop professionally.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be located in Germany with valid work authorization for full-time employment.
