Your work will critically influence AI-powered experiences and accelerate the AI strategies of different business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and operate AI and agentic system prototypes.
  • Design workflows integrating LLMs, tools, and enterprise knowledge.
  • Conduct experiments on models, prompts, and system architectures.
  • Assess prototype performance, reliability, and quality.
  • Document insights, reusable design patterns, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with product, platform, and delivery teams.
  • Contribute to shaping AI solutions prior to production deployment.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate might have experience from university, internships, personal projects, hackathons or early career positions. We value individuals who demonstrate:

  • Strong fundamentals in software engineering.
  • Experience with Python or equivalent programming languages.
  • Keen interest in AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies.
  • A strong dedication to continuous learning.
  • Adaptability to work within fast-paced and evolving work environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A curious mindset focused on building, experimenting, and practical learning.

Perks and Benefits

  • Enhanced KiwiSaver with a 4% employer contribution plus life insurance coverage.
  • 25 days total annual leave (20 days standard plus 5 days personal leave).
  • Flexible working options including the possibility to work from home via myFlex.
  • Up to 50% discount on personal insurance products including home and motor insurance.
  • An annual health and wellbeing allowance of $500.
  • Generous family benefits including 14 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Access to professional development resources, including LinkedIn Learning, IAG Academy, study support, and secondment opportunities.
