About the Role
We are collaborating with a dynamic and rapidly expanding healthcare company that is revolutionizing patient access to treatment. As part of their growth, they are seeking a knowledgeable Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to contribute significantly within a progressive, efficient pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final accuracy checks following GPhC standards and established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of prescriptions.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy personnel to uphold superior patient care standards.
- Detect and resolve any dispensing errors before medications are issued.
- Promote quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and ongoing improvement throughout the pharmacy environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a qualified Pharmacy Technician.
- Certification as an accredited Accuracy Checking Technician.
- Keen attention to detail combined with a commitment to quality.
- Aptitude to thrive in a fast-moving, high-volume workplace.
- A proactive collaborator who enjoys enhancing operational procedures and supporting team members.
