Role Overview
We are inviting applications for the position of Accounts Receivable Officer based in Wetherill Park, NSW. This role reports directly to the National Credit Manager and plays a vital part in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring precision and efficiency in handling incoming payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage credit applications and maintain customer records.
- Collaborate with sales staff and clients to verify correct information, facilitate insurance coverage, and review all necessary documentation.
- Prepare reports to satisfy the informational needs of stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or customer inquiries promptly.
- Accurately process all incoming customer payments.
- Handle all types of banking processes including EFT, credit card, and cheque transactions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of one year’s experience in accounts receivable, banking, or credit control roles.
- Proven ability to build relationships and negotiate across various levels within the organization and with clients.
- Excellent communication and superior customer service capabilities.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, especially advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, systems, and deadlines effectively.
- A demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
