About the Role

Petgenics Pet Products is seeking a meticulous Accountant to join their team in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing comprehensive financial operations, ensuring accurate recording and maintenance of all transactions, and supporting statutory compliance and financial reporting.

Core Responsibilities

  • Accurately document and update all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and validate entries related to sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable, including managing customer and supplier ledgers.
  • Track outstanding balances and pursue collections effectively.
  • Conduct bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit GST returns, TDS statements, and other compliance reports per regulations.

  • Keep detailed records of fixed assets and inventory accounting.
  • Liaise with auditors, banking institutions, and tax consultants for smooth financial processes.

  • Ensure proper filing and archival of financial documents to maintain organization.
  • Assist in budgeting efforts, cash flow management, and detailed financial analyses.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess a bachelor's or master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com or M.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient with accounting software such as Tally, Marg ERP, Busy, or similar tools.
  • Strong grasp of GST, TDS, Income Tax regulations alongside solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong organizational and communication skills.
