About the Role
Our client is a leading performance digital marketing agency based in Singapore, renowned for its expertise and trusted by thousands of businesses across SEO, SEM, social media, content, and web disciplines. With decades of proven success, they seek a commercially-focused Account Manager to own key client relationships and foster sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal client interface, nurturing authentic relationships grounded in delivered results and trust.
- Assume full responsibility for client roadmaps, transitioning discussions from daily tasks towards strategic long-term business development.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of each client’s business to pinpoint core challenges and prospects.
- Convert client objectives into comprehensive, cross-channel marketing strategies.
- Identify performance risks, gaps, and market opportunities early, leveraging data-driven insights.
- Continuously monitor account KPIs aligned with client goals.
- Lead specialist teams with clear directives and recommendations for execution and further analysis.
- Highlight potential for increased budgets, new service adoption, and account refinement.
- Manage retention and growth of accounts by spotting upselling and cross-selling possibilities aligned with client needs.
- Conduct renewal negotiations with clear communication of the value generated.
- Provide precise renewal forecasts including growth prospects, risk elements, and scope modifications.
- Maintain and enhance client account value rather than only preserving current status.
- Offer credible strategic advice across multiple digital channels.
- Pose thoughtful inquiries and constructively challenge weak propositions to guide clients effectively.
- Deliver actionable insights via performance reporting and optimization efforts.
- Ensure all client documentation and internal communications remain current and well-coordinated.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in account management, client servicing, or a related discipline.
- Strong conceptual understanding of digital channels including SEO, Meta platforms, Google, and organic social media.
- Keen interest in AI-powered marketing methodologies.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build client trust and influence decision-making.
- Proven history of successfully growing and retaining client accounts.
- Ability to translate overarching business goals into structured digital strategies.
- Previous agency experience is advantageous; candidates moving from in-house roles are encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on experience with Google and/or Meta platforms is a plus.
