Role Overview

Aivar Innovations is looking for an Account Manager to handle core accounting and finance operations from its Coimbatore office. The role is centered on maintaining clean books, supporting statutory compliance, and helping the finance function run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily accounting entries accurately in the ERP and complete periodic bank reconciliations so that all transactions are properly reflected in the books.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and other critical finance reports.
  • Manage routine accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
  • Assist with direct and indirect tax compliance work, including TDS, GST, income tax returns, and tax audit support.
  • Help close the books every month and at year-end, ensuring correctness, timeliness, and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Work with internal and external auditors, including preparing supporting documents and resolving audit-related queries.
  • Ensure monthly payroll-related compliance, including timely EPFO filing and payment of other statutory dues.
  • Look for ways to automate financial and operational reporting to improve speed and data quality.
  • Coordinate with the company secretarial team to support ROC and other regulatory compliance activities.

Education and Experience

  • UG or PG qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance roles.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and outside stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements.
  • Comfortable working with Excel and ERP systems.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving, lean team environment.
