Role Overview

The Account Manager for Saudi Arabia will actively cultivate new client relationships and expand designated territories by collaborating closely with Technical, Channel Partner, and Marketing teams to implement effective sales strategies. This role requires building trusted partnerships with customers and their executive teams. The Account Manager is responsible for meeting and surpassing sales targets to drive the region's business growth, acting as a trusted advisor and clearly communicating Trend Micro’s offerings and value proposition to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify prospects and engage existing clients to promote adoption of Trend Micro’s technologies and services.
  • Develop market share within assigned territories by setting account objectives and crafting strategic plans for products and services.
  • Maintain deep awareness of the territory and forge relationships with CIOs and CISOs to create business opportunities.
  • Work jointly with Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Sales leadership to present the appropriate value propositions to channel CEOs and their sales and technical teams.
  • Achieve quarterly revenue goals aligned with business unit targets.
  • Build partnerships with the ecosystem including alliances or technology partners such as AWS, Microsoft, VMware, and Google.
  • Leverage understanding of security frameworks (Zero Trust, SASE, UEBA, XDR) and security platforms (SIEM, SOAR) to enhance client engagement.
  • Maintain comprehensive account data within Salesforce to support opportunity management, revenue forecasting, and account planning.
  • Communicate important updates to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop enduring client relationships by thoroughly understanding their business needs and requirements.
  • Advise clients on cybersecurity initiatives, providing consistent engagement from demonstrations through post-implementation support.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings and calls to foster engagement and trust.
  • Organize and take part in account review meetings addressing customer experience, service performance, feedback, and future collaboration opportunities.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally with a background in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Account Management certifications such as SPIN or TAS highly valued.
  • Relevant sales and security certifications preferred.
  • Experienced in interfacing with both direct customers and channel partners.
  • Demonstrated skill in selling value to CIOs and managing complex multi-customer scenarios incorporating technical and sales expertise.
  • Proven background in commercial sector account management.
  • Knowledgeable about competitors, emerging cybersecurity technologies, trends such as Cloud, Digital Transformation, IIoT, and regional regulations impacting markets.
  • Growth mindset with experience thriving in collaborative environments.
  • Adept at cross-functional teamwork with Technical, Marketing, and Channel groups to ensure customer success.
  • Strong ability to form and sustain senior executive relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills to present business value propositions and complex technological benefits in straightforward terms.
