Account Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced accountant to oversee all financial operations including fixed and variable payments, bank deposits, budgeting, auditing, tax calculations, and financial reporting. This role demands accuracy in managing bookkeeping and identifying numerical errors, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing precise financial insights into the company's position, liquidity, and cash flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting transactions and processes.
• Develop and prepare budget forecasts.
• Timely publication of financial statements.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure bank payments are completed punctually.
• Calculate tax obligations and prepare tax returns.
• Handle balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Provide reports on financial health and liquidity of the business.
• Conduct audits of financial transactions and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and perform database backups when needed.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate sales logistics operations.
• Serve as office manager, overseeing office activities and team management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of professional experience as an accountant.
• Thorough understanding of accounting rules and standards, including GAAP.
• Practical experience with accounting software such as Odoo, FreshBooks, or QuickBooks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Experience managing general ledger functions.
• Keen attention to detail paired with strong analytical capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Additional certifications like CPA or CMA are advantageous.
