Role Overview

The Access Co-ordinator plays a critical role in managing and coordinating access requests related to Buildings and Civils Works Delivery. Key responsibilities include overseeing access plans for designated areas, preparing Safe System of Work documentation, and handling possession submissions and change control processes using industry-standard systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all access requests for Buildings and Civils Works Delivery Managers.
  • Oversee and maintain the access plan for assigned areas.
  • Develop Safe System of Work Packs pertaining to the created access.
  • Submit possessions through the Possession Planning System (PPS).
  • Use the Railhub system to submit lineblocks.
  • Administer the possession change control procedure effectively.

Candidate Profile and Essential Skills

  • Understanding of access planning procedures and related systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable standards and protocols.
  • Awareness of maintenance processes and relevant techniques.
  • Familiarity with operational railway environments.
  • Strong geographical knowledge related to rail networks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
