About the Role

Join a content-centric YouTube brand dedicated to crafting immersive travel vlogs that highlight destinations, experiences, and cultural narratives. As a Video Editor Intern, you will play a crucial part in enhancing video quality and audience engagement across YouTube and Instagram platforms while gaining advanced editing expertise.

Primary Responsibilities

Produce engaging videos by editing long-format YouTube episodes and short Instagram Reels.
Convert unedited footage into captivating content that retains viewer interest.
Create compelling storylines focusing on pacing, timing, and emotional impact.
Incorporate music, sound effects, and ambience to enrich the audio experience.
Perform professional audio cleanup and mixing to ensure sound clarity.
Use motion graphics, text overlays, and visual transitions selectively to support the narrative.
Engage collaboratively on content concepts and refine edits through constructive feedback.
Maintain an organized editing workflow with properly managed project files.

Candidate Profile

Successful candidates will possess a strong storytelling instinct and technical proficiency in video editing. You should understand how to keep viewers engaged by crafting emotional narratives with careful pacing and selective cutting to maximize audience retention.

Technical skills should include familiarity with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, with additional knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and After Effects considered advantageous. You should be comfortable with audio mixing, color correction, understanding export settings, and possibly multicam and proxy workflows.

Ideal applicants are passionate about video editing as a career, detail-oriented, quick learners who respond well to feedback, deadline-conscious, and motivated by continuous growth rather than quick gains.

Those who rely solely on mobile editing apps, seek minimal effort for quick earnings, imitate trends without understanding technique, miss deadlines frequently, or lack commitment to skill development are discouraged from applying.

Internship Details

Duration: 6 months
Work Mode: Remote, with flexible hours aligned to deadlines

Application Process

Applicants should submit their resume, a portfolio or showreel, and three of their best edited videos along with a short note explaining their passion for editing, what they consider engaging video content, and favorite YouTube creators from an editing perspective.

Selection Procedure

Candidates who progress will be asked to complete a test edit using provided raw footage, emphasizing storytelling and thoughtful editing over flashy effects.

Stipend ranges from 3000 to 5000 INR monthly
