Working Student Trading Analytics (m/f/d) 20 hours/week

About the role

Join a trading team that works at the heart of Europe’s short-term power markets. In this working student position, you will help explore market dynamics and turn data into insights that support day-to-day trading decisions. Your analysis will feed directly into trading strategies and contribute to better, evidence-based decisions.

What you will do

• Investigate market, price, and fundamental data to understand the forces behind trading movements.
• Support the team in making stronger trading calls by focusing on outcomes and P&L impact.
• Work through complex datasets and help develop new analytical approaches.
• Deliver insights that are used directly in trading and can make a real difference.

What you should bring

• You are currently studying a subject related to energy, mathematics, computer science, or a similar discipline.
• You have a solid understanding of markets and how different factors are connected.
• You can code, for example in Python, R, or a comparable language, and enjoy automating tasks.
• You like to think critically, analyze data, ask questions, and work independently.
