Role overview

In this working student position, you will support the engineering R&D team in a practical, workshop-oriented setting. The role is intended for students who enjoy hands-on work and want to gain direct experience building mechanical and electrical assemblies, producing technical documentation, and contributing to product improvements.

Your work will have a direct influence on mechanical and electrical type testing and will help ensure the company’s solutions meet demanding standards for quality, reliability, and sustainability.

What you will do

• Construct sub-assemblies as well as complete assemblies.
• Prepare clear work instructions that reflect the actual assembly process.
• Record and review technical problems that come up during assembly.
• Work with design engineers to recommend improvements that support design for assembly.
• Create detailed mechanical drawings following GD&T standards.

What the company is looking for

The ideal candidate is currently studying Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering at bachelor’s level, preferably with a design focus. Practical experience with mechanical assembly is important, along with a solid technical mindset and strong problem-solving ability.

Applicants should be fluent in both English and German. Additional advantages include a mechanical engineering background with GD&T exposure, as well as experience in workshop or production settings.
