Warehouse Assistant

Job Summary

This role is focused on keeping warehouse activities running smoothly from the moment goods arrive until they are sent out. You will be responsible for handling receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory tracking, while also helping maintain a tidy and safe workplace.

Core Responsibilities

• Take in incoming shipments, unload materials, and complete stock intake checks accurately.
• Arrange and store items in an orderly way so stock can be controlled and retrieved quickly.
• Pick customer orders, pack them correctly, and prepare dispatches so deliveries leave on time.
• Carry out routine stock checks and keep inventory records updated and accurate.
• Support the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles to keep shipments moving efficiently.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, following health and safety requirements at all times.

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred for handling day-to-day tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail is needed to avoid stock and order errors.
• Good physical stamina is important for lifting and moving items safely.
• Strong time management helps ensure deadlines are met and work stays efficient during busy periods.
• A proactive approach to solving problems is useful when operational issues arise.
• A forklift license is preferred for safe operation of warehouse equipment.

Additional Information

Work schedule: 5 days per week.

Location: Kallang, Singapore.

Compensation: Up to $2,500.
