Role Overview
This position supports the smooth running of food and beverage service by helping create a memorable guest experience. The role goes beyond simply serving food and drinks; it focuses on assisting the team so that every service moment feels polished, efficient, and part of the overall experience.
Key Duties
- Help keep food and beverage operations moving efficiently during service.
- Set and reset tables as needed.
- Support kitchen operations when required.
- Clean service areas and restock supplies.
- Contribute to a service flow that feels seamless for guests.
- Carry out additional reasonable tasks as assigned.
Work Standards and Physical Requirements
The role requires a consistent focus on safety, quality, professionalism, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Team members are expected to maintain a professional uniform, appearance, and style of communication at all times.
This is an active, hands-on position that involves spending long periods on your feet, including standing, walking, and sitting for extended intervals. The work may also involve movement across uneven, sloped, or slippery surfaces, reading and checking menu information visually, and handling physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching. Objects handled may weigh up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED-equivalent is preferred. No prior work experience is required, though experience in a food and beverage setting is an advantage. Supervisory experience is not needed, and no license or certification is required.
