Role overview
The Van Driver supports patient transport and related care tasks for a healthcare facility. The role involves helping patients travel to and from the facility in the company van and taking care of van-related maintenance duties once transport runs are finished. This position serves pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Key duties
- Assist patients during transport to and from the facility using the facility van.
- Accompany patients safely throughout their transfer process.
- Carry out maintenance-related tasks after van operations are completed.
- Provide direct support to patients across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
