Role Overview

The Test and Run Technician position is a hands-on depot role based in Dublin. It involves carrying out basic electrical and functional checks, along with servicing and cleaning equipment returned from hire so it is safe, presentable, and ready for the next customer.

Working Hours

The role is scheduled Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:30, amounting to 42 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out basic electrical testing on returned equipment.
  • Perform functionality checks to confirm products are safe and working properly.
  • Service and clean items returned from hire.
  • Prepare equipment so it is tidy, safe, and ready for the next customer.
  • Support the depot in delivering day-to-day operational output.
  • Contribute to the business unit’s ESG goals under the “Decade to Deliver” strategy.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of basic electrical systems, especially 12v and 24v.
  • Basic mechanical ability and confidence using tools effectively.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in the hire sector or another engineering environment is preferred.
