Technical Manager

Role Overview

The Technical Manager will support housing finance operations by evaluating properties, monitoring projects, reducing technical and collateral risks, and strengthening relationships with external stakeholders. The role involves close coordination with valuation agencies, developers, and government authorities, along with policy support and portfolio oversight.

Property Valuation and Analysis

• Assess properties using recognized valuation methods and approaches.
• Visit and evaluate residential, commercial, and industrial assets.
• Create valuation models and carry out feasibility assessments.

Market and Industry Research

• Study the market landscape, industry trends, and competitor activity in detail.
• Work with valuation firms, developers, and government offices to gather updates.
• Follow shifts in the real estate market and understand how they affect lending decisions.

Fraud and Risk Control

• Put in place controls to avoid multiple or excessive funding against the same property.
• Keep records of disputed properties, public notices, and securitization-related alerts.
• Carry out property audits to evaluate collateral exposure and risk.

Project Monitoring

• Review project approvals and verify legal as well as technical compliance.
• Track construction progress on a regular basis and update project records.
• Help speed up approvals for new residential developments.

Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with builders and developers to encourage repeat business.
• Explore partnership opportunities that can create additional revenue channels.

Policy and Compliance

• Contribute to the development and improvement of technical policies for housing finance.
• Monitor portfolio delinquencies linked to technical issues.
