Role overview
This position is with an Indian deep-tech company established in 2019 and based in Pune. The organization builds AI-driven, software-defined robotic systems for logistics automation, with a focus on compact vertical parcel sorting solutions that help e-commerce businesses improve efficiency while using less space.
What you will do
- Handle procurement activities for raw materials and ensure timely sourcing.
- Create purchase orders and track them through closure.
- Follow up with vendors to keep deliveries and commitments on schedule.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Keep a close watch on inventory levels and raise requirements as needed.
- Check and validate supplier invoices before processing.
- Work in coordination with production and logistics teams to support smooth operations.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Assist with import-related activities when required.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant should bring 4 to 5 years of experience in procurement, purchase operations, vendor management, inventory control, SAP/ERP usage, purchase order processing, and supply chain functions, preferably from a manufacturing background.
Eligibility
Applicants with a graduate degree or a diploma in mechanical engineering can apply.
Compensation
The role offers an annual salary in the range of INR 4,00,000 to 5,00,000.
