Supply Chain Leadership Program

Overview

This is an onsite Supply Chain Leadership Program based in Mississauga, Ontario. It is designed to prepare future people leaders by placing participants in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

The role offers compensation of $72,500 to $78,700.

Program experience

You will begin by learning the daily operations of a frontline supply chain team. The experience is centered on leadership development, including guiding employees, solving operational issues, and removing obstacles so the team can perform effectively during each shift.

You will also monitor important business metrics, look for patterns in performance, and contribute to projects that support improvements in speed, strength, and overall business performance.

Responsibilities

• Use both academic knowledge and hands-on understanding of operations, repair processes, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to help keep equipment dependable.
• Support the execution of the annual production operating plan.
• Meet expected standards for safety, line efficiency, and product quality.
• Track KPIs and costs, then spot and address trends that could affect financial goals.
• Help maintain equipment reliability and reduce production downtime.
• Strengthen team capability through employee relations, coaching, training, and day-to-day communication with hourly frontline workers.
• Follow all health and safety requirements.
• Ensure adherence to quality management systems and food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, and SSOPs.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree must be completed by August 2026.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• You should have a clear commitment to working with people and leading teams.
• You need proven problem-solving ability and the capacity to balance multiple priorities.
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to get involved directly in the work are important.
• Active participation in extracurricular activities or community involvement is preferred.
• You should be adaptable, take initiative, and respond positively to change.
