Student Support Manager

About the Role

Valley Park School in Maidstone is looking to appoint a Student Support Manager to join its pastoral team. The role focuses on the care, wellbeing, and day-to-day support of students. This is a term-time position working five days per week.

Salary and Schedule

The advertised salary is VIAT 6 at £29,099 for a full-time role, with a pro rata amount of £24,279.73. The start date is 01/09/2026. Applications close on 24/07/2026 at 12:00.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the pastoral care and welfare of students as part of the school’s pastoral team.

Safeguarding and Compliance

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and all staff and volunteers are expected to share that commitment. This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.

As part of shortlisting, the Trust may carry out an online search on shortlisted candidates as part of its due diligence. Any relevant information identified that may affect suitability to work with children will be discussed.
