About This Internship
As a Story & Narrative Writing intern at Funcell Games Pvt Ltd, you will craft engaging interactive fiction stories that captivate mobile gamers. Your task will be to develop fully original story titles providing 60 to 120 minutes of story-driven gameplay, inspired by the choice-based cinematic approach used in our game Pawn to Don.
You will manage each story comprehensively — from the initial premise and main story arc to character documentation and detailed chapter-by-chapter branching scripts. Your narratives must feature meaningful player choices where each branch produces noticeable changes rather than repeating similar scenes. The story structure should optimize player retention, beginning with a strong hook within 15 seconds, including suspenseful cliffhangers at chapter ends, and maintaining tension through advertisement breaks.
Dialogue must be concise, impactful, easy to read on mobile screens, and performed effectively, avoiding monotonous lines. Additionally, you will analyze successful interactive fiction and micro-drama titles such as Episode, Chapters, ReelShort, ShortMax, and DramaBox to dissect why their story beats succeed, applying these insights to your drafts.

Additional Details
- Stipend ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month
- Internship lasts for two months and starts immediately upon joining
- Interns will work five days a week with an informal dress code
- Successful interns may receive a job offer; salaries after conversion range between ₹300,000 and ₹400,000 per annum
- Certification and letters of recommendation will be provided upon completion
