Role Summary

This position focuses on managing purchasing activities, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting procurement processes in accordance with approved policies and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests and gather competitive price quotes.
• Discuss pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
• Create and release purchase orders according to approved procedures.
• Work closely with the stores and receiving teams to confirm correct deliveries and proper documentation.
• Keep supplier records current and assess vendor performance regularly.
• Track market developments to identify savings opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow internal audit requirements and procurement rules set by the brand.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline is required.

The role is best suited to candidates with 2 to 4 years of purchasing experience, ideally in the hospitality sector.

Skills Needed

Strong negotiation ability, analytical thinking, communication, coordination, vendor management, procurement operations, purchase order handling, and market awareness are important for this role.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Pune City, Maharashtra, India.
