Role Overview
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a rapidly expanding technology security company. The organisation is a mid-sized business headquartered in the United States and is looking for a senior backend engineer with strong Go expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and improving backend services in Go with a focus on reliability, scalability, response time, and system efficiency.
- Taking part in code reviews and design reviews to uphold strong engineering quality and development practices.
- Collaborating with internal teams to shape new architectures and technical approaches that support better scale and performance.
- Working across the stack on performance analysis, tuning, and optimisation efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in backend web development, primarily using Go.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and other relational or NoSQL database systems.
- Solid background in distributed systems design and architecture.
- Exposure to front-end technologies will be considered a plus.
