Scrum Master

Role Overview

Mumba Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Scrum Master in the United States for a contract, on-site assignment. In this role, you will support Agile delivery for assigned teams while working under the direction of the Senior Scrum Master Lead.

What You’ll Do

• Facilitate team-level Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Keep team boards and delivery records up to date, such as Jira storyboards and sprint backlogs, so work tracking stays accurate and current.
• Assist with sprint forecasting, capacity planning, and making sure the backlog is ready for execution.
• Identify impediments, risks, and dependencies, escalate them to the Senior Scrum Master Lead, and ensure follow-up on action items.
• Support basic delivery reporting, including metrics tracking and status updates.
• Encourage Agile practices, reinforce shared working agreements, and help the team follow continuous improvement actions.
• Develop productive working relationships with IT team members and business stakeholders.

Experience and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in an Agile delivery environment.
• Solid understanding of Scrum fundamentals and Agile principles.
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to surface risks and issues early.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Scrum Master certification is considered an advantage.
