Role overview
This full-time Sales Assistant position is based at Monaghans Centra, Ballybrit, Galway (H91TY4X). The role centres on making customer satisfaction the top priority and creating a welcoming shopping experience through product knowledge, care, and enthusiasm. The salary is not fixed and will be provided on application.
Responsibilities
- Put the customer first at all times and help ensure each shopper has a positive experience.
- Represent the brand values of being proud, energetic, imaginative, and community-focused.
- Handle customer questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and in line with store procedures.
- Keep shelves and store displays well-stocked, tidy, and presented to a high standard.
- Welcome new ideas and adapt to updated ways of working.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will bring strong communication skills, the ability to read customer needs and respond accordingly, and a sharp eye for detail. You should be organised, adaptable, able to work on your own initiative, and comfortable in a busy team environment. A customer-focused mindset is essential, and prior experience in customer service would be beneficial.
